This article analyzes the influence of the socio-political situation in the medieval Islamic world on the formation and development of the worldview of Shihab al-Din Suhravardi. It also emphasizes the importance of justice and enlightenment in society through his philosophical perspectives and works. The inseparable connection of these aspects with the political systems, as well as the religious and spiritual environment of that time, is examined. Additionally, the article discusses Suhravardi’s relationships with the social environment, his interactions with rulers and scholars, and explores how political instability, religious conflicts, and cultural changes influenced Suhravardi’s philosophy and beliefs.
