Abstract

This article focuses on the migration of Proto-Turkic peoples to the American continent and the etymological-semantic characteristics of similar words found in their languages. The introduction highlights the expansion of Turkic peoples across vast geographical regions and discusses related scientific hypotheses. The methodology and analysis section examines historical sources, such as Mirzo Ulugbek’s “History of Four Nations”, as well as the scholarly works of researchers like F.Otto Roehrig, A.Karimullin, and P.Kaya. The study attempts to identify the presence and similarities of certain Turkic words within the languages of indigenous American peoples. Additionally, the research explores the cultural and linguistic influence exerted by other nations and the historical migration patterns of the Turkic tribes. Finally, the article discusses the hypotheses and supporting evidence regarding the migration of Proto-Turkic tribes to the American continent, laying the groundwork for future research directions and potential scientific discoveries.
