This article describes the problems most frequently faced by Uzbek students when studying Italian as a foreign language in higher education institutions. It analyses the grammatical and phonetic peculiarities of the Italian in relation to the Uzbek. The article also presents ways of solving these problems, understanding or adapting them to native language.
