This article provides information on the philosophical analysis of the scientific work and life of Fazl ibn Ahmad. The work Iddatul uqul wa umdatul abdul (The Promise of Reason and the Basis of Things Desirable to Reason) contains thoughts on the philosophy of light and movement. In the construction of a new Uzbekistan, the teachings of Rumi, especially the ideas of Fazl ibn Ahmad, in today's difficult times, raising young people as spiritually mature people and spiritually elevating them remains an important task. Today, the priority of effective use of Fazl ibn Ahmad's treatise Iddatul uqul wa umdatul maqul (The promise of minds and the foundation of things that are good for minds) in social development, society's well-being and satisfaction of human needs is highlighted
