This article analyzes aphorisms in English and Uzbek from cultural and philosophical perspectives. Aphorisms are a clear reflection of national thought and philosophical views, shaping each nation’s unique worldview while reinforcing cultural and moral values. They serve as concise yet meaningful expressions that encapsulate a nation’s historical experience and ethical principles. The study compares aphorisms in both languages, examining their semantic characteristics, artistic expression, and layers of meaning. Additionally, the research explores the role of aphorisms in society and the philosophical concepts they convey. The findings highlight the universal and culturally specific aspects of aphorisms. While English and Uzbek aphorisms may differ in form, their essence is rooted in universal human truths.
