GLOBAL TRENDS IN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND UZBEKISTAN'S EXPERIENCE

This article analyzes the development trends of the corporate governance system based on global experience, as well as its practice in Uzbekistan. Key aspects such as adaptation to international standards, the implementation and enforcement of ESG principles, and the assessment of corporate governance efficiency are examined. Additionally, the analysis covers reports from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the World Bank, along with corporate governance reforms in Uzbekistan. The findings of this study will help identify promising directions for further improvement of corporate governance.
