This article studies the concept of a green economy and the Ecoponics model as a solution to
environmental problems. The principles of a green economy, environmental problems and the role of Ecoponics
in sustainable development are analyzed. The research was conducted on the basis of document analysis and
statistical data. The results show that Ecoponics ensures economic and environmental sustainability through the
efficient use of resources, waste reduction and the use of renewable energy.
