Abstract

This study investigated the effectiveness of using dance and movement games to develop balance skills
in young female wrestlers. The aim is to introduce new, innovative approaches to physical training for balance
development in young athletes and analyze their effectiveness. The study involved 10-12 year old female wrestlers
who underwent dance and movement training according to a specially designed training program. It was expected
that the participants in the experimental group would experience the physical and psychological benefits of dance
and movement games, including improved balance, coordination, muscle strength and overall physical fitness. The results of the research show that dance and movement games are not only effective in developing balance
skills, but also play an important role in improving the psychological state of young athletes. The participants
showed increased interest, motivation and involvement in the activities, which contributed to an increase in their overall sports activity. According to the tests conducted during the study, the participants in the experimental
group showed a clear increase in the ability to maintain balance. For example, the results of the National Dance
Test and the Balance Platform Stability Test showed a significant improvement in the experimental group.
