This article analyzes the growing importance of soft skills – such as communication, creativity, critical thinking, leadership, and adaptability — in the context of the global labor market. In particular, the role and significance of social sciences in the development of soft skills are highlighted. The article scientifically substantiates that in the process of globalization, not only professional knowledge but also broad personal and social competencies have become crucial factors for success in the labor market. The necessity of strengthening the integration between soft skills and social sciences to better prepare students and young specialists for the demands of the modern global competition is also emphasized.
