CURRENT ISSUES OF TEACHING LEGAL DISCIPLINES IN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITIES

Abstract

This article analyzes contemporary pedagogical approaches to the instruction of legal disciplines within technical universities. Emphasis is placed on the implementation of innovative educational technologies, including interactive online platforms, webinars, multimedia resources, project-based and problem-oriented learning models, and the integration of artificial intelligence into the academic environment. The study highlights the imperative to strengthen the practical orientation of legal education, align curricula with the professional requirements of future engineers, and introduce a dual-structured course framework comprising theoretical and applied components. The article further argues for the development of students’ legal consciousness, legal culture, and civic responsibility as essential outcomes of legal education. Within the context of Uzbekistan’s Development Strategy for the period up to 2030, the paper outlines key priorities for educational reform and the training of highly qualified legal professionals for the technical sector.
