CREATION OF THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK OF MEDIA IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

This article provides a legal and scholarly analysis of the formation process of the legal framework governing mass media activities in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The relevance of the topic is established, and the main legislative documents, along with the stages of their adoption, are outlined. Additionally, the current legislation that regulates mass media activities in Uzbekistan is compared with international standards, highlighting existing problems and shortcomings. Based on the research findings, specific recommendations are offered for improving the legislation in this area and enhancing the legal protection of mass media.
