This article analyzes the processes of socio-cultural development from the standpoint of a civilizational approach. The article examines the role of such factors as social institutions, value system, Religion, Science, Education and art in the development of society. The current issues of intercivilizational dialogue and cultural integration in the context of modern globalization are also highlighted, the research results are aimed at substantiating the importance of a civilizational approach to a deeper understanding and management of socio-cultural progress.
