This article explores the central ideas of the philosophy of Mirza Abdulqadir Bedil (1644–1720), a prominent Persian-language poet, thinker, and representative of the Sufi tradition. Special attention is given to the concepts of wahdat al-wujud (unity of being), mazhar (the world as a reflection), the illusory nature of the material world, and the path to truth through self-awareness. Metaphysical poetry is interpreted as a means of attaining truth and spiritual self-realization. Bedil is presented as a mystical philosopher striving to synthesize rational knowledge and inner experience. The article also examines the idea of the human being as a microcosm, reflecting the structure of the entire universe. Furthermore, the study highlights Bedil’s influence on later Islamic philosophical thought and his connections to the traditions of Ibn Arabi, Rumi, Navoi, and Indian metaphysics.
