This article covers the legal protection of a person's honor and dignity and the grounds for liability for its violation. The grounds for the emergence of civil, administrative, and criminal liability for persons who have insulted the honor and dignity of a person are analyzed. The experience of foreign countries, in particular, Italy, Spain, France, and Germany, has also been thoroughly studied.
