THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND MILITARY-POLITICAL LIFE OF THE ASHTARKHANID STATE DURING IMOMQULIKHAN'S REIGN

Abstract

It is certainly no coincidence that historians consider the reign of Imomqulixan, one of the khans of the Ashtarkhanid dynasty, to be the best period of governance. During Imomqulixan's era, the state strengthened to some extent in all spheres, and the rule of law was established in social life. All factors threatening the integrity of the state were identified, and serious efforts were made to eliminate them. In particular, the devastating impact of nomadic tribes' invasions on the country was assessed, and even internal problems of these tribes were exploited to consistently eliminate them. The establishment of order in the state's external and internal relations stimulated the development of other sectors. This article examines the general history of the Bukhara Khanate during Imomqulixan's reign, utilizing available literature.
