STATE AND DIRECTIONS OF POVERTY REDUCTION IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

The article examines the key aspects of the poverty problem in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The analysis of scientific works of domestic and foreign researchers devoted to the study of the level and factors of poverty in the country is conducted. The analysis of statistical data on the level and structure of poverty over the past five years is presented. Based on the analysis, the main directions of state policy and practical measures contributing to the reduction of poverty and the improvement of the well-being of the population of Uzbekistan are determined.
