Abstract

This study analyzes the dynamics of the economic indicators of Namangan region over a 24-year period, with an emphasis on the sectoral structure of the gross regional product (GRP), industrial production, trade turnover and employment. The results obtained indicate a steady growth in GRP up to 2018, followed by a downward trend from 2019 to 2024. A similar negative trend is observed in the industrial sector, while fluctuating trends are recorded in the areas of trade and employment. For a comprehensive assessment of these processes, the study uses trend analysis with five-year intervals, as well as visualization of changes in the form of industry graphs. The findings provide valuable information about the transformation of the regional economy and serve as a basis for making informed decisions in the field of regional policy and planning.
