This article aims to illuminate the reflection of a new style and interpretation in Uzbek literature - surrealism (the world of imagination) and its theoretical features, based on the analysis of writer Omon Mukhtor's novel "Ruins on the Hill." The study employs biographical, structural, and comparative-typological methods to investigate issues such as the history of surrealism, its place in world literature, and its introduction into Uzbek literature. The research is grounded in theoretical literature, various scientific articles, and analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, the article identifies surrealism in our national literature and its theoretical characteristics, its manifestation in modern novels, and its role in analyzing the psyche of characters.
