Abstract

The process of preparing blind and visually impaired students for social life studying in special educational institutions of the “Nurli Maskan” type is analyzed. The main attention is paid to the content, forms and effectiveness of correctional and pedagogical work carried out in these institutions. The research studies the processes of students entering into social relations, adapting to independent life, and acquiring communicative skills, and methodological approaches and practical activities in this regard are highlighted on the basis of comparative analysis. Also, the scientific work substantiates the importance of correctional and pedagogical measures in the formation of independent thinking, personal initiative and life goals in students based on statistical data and observations. The results of the research serve as a scientific and practical basis for improving pedagogical strategies aimed at social adaptation in the special education system.
