The article analyzes the social necessity of forming the moral culture of a lawyer from a philosophical point of view. The assessment of the moral culture of a lawyer as an important factor in protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, ensuring legality and the formation of a state governed by the rule of law is substantiated.The structural elements of the moral culture of a lawyer are also analyzed and their importance in professional activity is noted.
