This article examines the problem of man and family in the work of Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur "Babur-name" from a scientific and theoretical point of view. The work examines the author's personal life, family relationships, family ties, respect for parents, raising children and the role of the institution of family in society. During the study, family values, mutual kindness, loyalty, moral norms and their importance for social stability are revealed through the prism of historical events and personal memories in the work "Babur-name". The article also scientifically substantiates the inextricable link between human development and family education in Babur's worldview, the interpretation of the family as a decisive factor in the spiritual development of the individual. The analysis is carried out from the standpoint of historical, literary and cultural studies and helps to identify the historical and philosophical roots of the theme of family and man in the Uzbek literary heritage.
