THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF URBAN RESIDENTS IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

The article is dedicated to the rights and responsibilities of urban residents in environmental protection. It elaborates on every citizen's right to a clean environment, the right to receive information, and the right to participate in decision-making. The article also lists the key obligations of the population, such as fostering ecological culture, showing respect for nature, and actively participating in community work for environmental preservation. The conclusion offers important suggestions, including strengthening environmental education, reinforcing state and public control, and implementing innovative solutions. The article proposes practical steps aimed at increasing the ecological responsibility of city dwellers and creating a clean, healthy living environment.
