ANALYSIS OF FRAUD COMMITTED THROUGH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

This article is devoted to the analysis of the most common forms of fraud in the context of the development of information technologies. It examines methods of unlawfully acquiring another’s property under the guise of legitimate social or civil-law relations, as well as mechanisms of giving an appearance of legality to unlawful acts. The conclusion outlines proposals aimed at preventing fraud and protecting potential victims.
