Abstract

This article analyzes the linguocultural features of English and Uzbek folk tales. Folk tales reflect the historical, cultural, and social life of a people. Through them, customs, values, moral views, worldview, and cultural heritage of the nation are revealed. Although English and Uzbek folk tales have their unique characteristics, they are united by common humanistic ideas - the triumph of good over evil, justice, courage, and generosity. The study examines the similarities and differences in characters, settings, plots, and oral traditions in the folk tales of both cultures from a linguocultural perspective.
