This article offers an examination of the stages in the study of the Arab Caliphate’s conquest of Central Asia, along with an analysis of selected English-language scholarly works devoted to the subject. Particular attention is given to the contributions of researchers such as Sir Thomas Arnold, Fred M. Donner, Patricia Crone, and C.E. Bosworth, highlighting the content of their works and the noteworthy perspectives they advance.
