This article analyzes the role of digital technologies and digital tourism in preserving historical monuments and enhancing their tourism potential. Technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), 3D modeling, and digital archiving are highlighted as key tools in safeguarding cultural heritage, making it accessible to global audiences, and enriching tourist experiences. Based on international research, the paper discusses the economic efficiency, educational value, and cultural significance of digital tourism, with a particular focus on applying global practices in Uzbekistan.
