The main purpose of this article is to conduct an in-depth and systematic study of the origin of the concept of “precariat,” its linguistic meanings, and its early philosophical and social interpretations. The analysis explores the etymological roots of the term, its initial use within early academic and social movements, and the views of key theorists who contributed to its development as a comprehensive modern concept. This study helps to more clearly define the essence of the term and its place in contemporary social sciences.
