Abstract

The article analyses the philosophical and ethical mechanisms through which life and death are understood in the information society. Drawing on Castells, Bauman, Baudrillard, Han and recent work on digital immortality, it explores the transformation of mortality, digital legacy and data afterlife. The study proposes ethical guidelines and recommendations for a more humane digital environment.
