This article examines the linguistic features of English and Uzbek media discourse, focusing on structure, communicative functions, and the use of linguistic units. It analyzes lexical, grammatical, pragmatic, and stylistic mechanisms shaped by national context, cultural norms, and information transmission strategies. English media discourse, as a major component of the global information space, is characterized by conciseness, accuracy, and standardized structure, while Uzbek media discourse reflects national mentality, cultural expressiveness, and traditional modes of communication. The study highlights the harmony between international and national approaches and emphasizes the importance of media discourse in modern communication.
