Abstract

This article examines the socio-philosophical essence of modernization, contemporary theoretical interpretations of the concept, and the national model of modernization in the context of Uzbekistan. The study analyzes classical and modern theories of modernization based on the views of M.Veber, S.Huntington, and S.Eisenstadt, assessing their relevance and limitations. It also evaluates the contributions of Uzbek scholars A.Ergashev, N.Juraev, and Sh.Karimov, substantiating the interconnection between modernization, national values, historical memory, and social consciousness.
