This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the economic and ecological optimization of water resource use based on global experience. In the context of accelerating climate change, limited water availability, and increasing demand for water resources, improving the efficiency of water use has become a critical scientific and practical challenge. The study examines modern approaches to water resource management applied in developed countries, including integrated water resources management, economic incentive mechanisms, and the alignment of environmental constraints with economic efficiency. Furthermore, based on global practices, the article assesses the prospects for improving water resource use in Uzbekistan, with particular emphasis on water-saving management mechanisms and ensuring long-term environmental sustainability.
