The article analyzes conceptual approaches to strengthening the family institution as a criterion for social stability. It examines the interconnection between family and society, the alignment of legal norms and moral values, as well as the relationship between state policy and spiritual stability in the development of the family institution based on scientific evidence. Through philosophical, axiological, and civilizational approaches, the strategic essence of the family phenomenon is revealed, highlighting its role in the spiritual, cultural, and social development of society. The article also discusses practical directions for strengthening the family institution, mechanisms for ensuring social stability, and the significance of state policy in this process. The findings demonstrate that the stability of the family institution is a crucial criterion for ensuring not only personal and familial well-being but also the social stability of society as a whole.
