The concepts of “ideology” and “national ideology” play an important role in human history, social life, and political processes. This article analyzes the content, essence, and social functions of ideology and national ideology. National ideology reflects the connection of an individual with cultural, historical, and traditional values, and plays a key role in preserving and developing national identity. In addition, the article examines the changes and new forms of national ideology in the context of global processes and intercultural interaction.
