This article presents a comparative analysis of stylistic devices used in English and Uzbek literary texts. The main objective of the study is to identify the functional and aesthetic roles of such stylistic units as metaphor, simile, epithet, personification, hyperbole, and litotes in literary discourse, as well as to examine their national and cultural characteristics. The research employs a комплекс approach based on descriptive, comparative-analytical, and contextual analysis methods.
