Crime forecasting is a pressing issue in social and legal fields today. This process involves scientific analysis of the future state of crime, dangerous areas, types and forms using modern mathematics, statistics, probability theory and information and communication technologies (ICT). Predictive policing systems, GIS, CCTV, AI, big data and video/sensor monitoring platforms allow for real-time crime detection, patrol targeting and efficient resource allocation.
