VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC CRIME VICTIMS AND ITS PREVENTIVE IMPORTANCE

This article examines the theoretical and applied aspects of victimization in domestic crime. Based on an analysis of contemporary victimology and criminology, the concepts of victimization and victimization are explored, as well as their role in the development of domestic crime. Particular attention is paid to the behavioral characteristics of victims, the socio-environmental conditions of their formation, and the relationship between the social environment of the offender and the victim. It is substantiated that victimization in the domestic sphere is predominantly patterned and determined by a combination of personal, behavioral, and socio-structural factors. The article analyzes the main forms of victimization (persistent and situational, active and passive), revealing their criminological significance and preventive potential. A conclusion is drawn regarding the need to integrate victimization prevention into the overall system of domestic crime prevention and the development of targeted preventive measures focused on both the social environment and the behavioral characteristics of potential victims.
