This article analyzes one of the historical novels of Isajon Sultan, one of the leading representatives of modern Uzbek literature, the novel "Bilga Khagan." The novel genre is distinguished by its diversity of characters. In novels, main and episodic images are of great importance. Also important are historical images and fictional images that serve to create their image more vividly. Therefore, the article also analyzes the skillfully illuminated fictional images in the novel, based on the author's achievement of a combination of historical fact and artistic fiction.
