This article examines current issues in the development of administrative and legal mechanisms for ensuring road traffic safety in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study analyzes the regulatory framework, the activities of authorized bodies, and the effectiveness of administrative liability measures in the field of road traffic regulation. Particular attention is given to the prevention of traffic accidents, the implementation of digital technologies, the improvement of monitoring mechanisms, and the strengthening of public participation. Based on a comparative analysis of foreign experience, practical recommendations are proposed to enhance the national system of road traffic safety. The findings contribute to strengthening the institutional and legal foundations of road traffic safety policy.
