This article analyzes the philosophy of knowledge and epistemological views of Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ali Hakim Termizi, a thinker who played an important role in the history of Islamic mysticism and philosophy, as expressed in his work “Ma’rifatul Asrar”. The article sheds light on the sources of the process of knowledge, the relationship between the mind and the heart, the concept of divine enlightenment, and the mystical interpretation of spiritual perception from a scientific and theoretical perspective. The article systematically analyzes the stages of human understanding of reality, the stratification of the mind, the concepts of the eye of the heart (tabsira) and intuitive knowledge (ma’rifat). It also sheds light on the relationship of the thinker’s epistemology with modern philosophical movements and its role in human perfection.
