THE ROLE OF STATE ARCHIVE DOCUMENTS IN STUDYING THE HISTORY OF TRADE IN UZBEKISTAN

This article analyzes the role of state archive documents in studying the history of trade in Uzbekistan from a source studies perspective. Based on archival materials, the formation of the trade system, its stages of development, and its economic and social significance are highlighted. The study evaluates the types of documents preserved in central and local archives, their content, reliability, and scientific value. In addition, the expanded opportunities for using archival sources during the independence period and актуal issues of their integration into scientific research are examined.
