Abstract

This article describes the role and importance of proverbs and sayings in folklore. It explains their
meaning, language features, and functions in society. Proverbs and sayings are shown as important tools that
reflect people’s life experience, worldview, and values. The article also highlights their role in education, clear
communication, and preserving cultural heritage.
