EASTERN AND WESTERN RENAISSANCE CULTURE: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

Abstract

This article reveals the specific features of the culture of the Italian Renaissance, the emergence of the buds of the Western Renaissance on the basis of the Eastern Renaissance, the reasons for the development of science in historical processes based on the principle of historicity, inventions, achievements and problems, as well as prospects. In addition, the development of the science of history in the Middle Ages and the similar and related aspects with the culture of the Eastern Renaissance period were analyzed, and opinions were expressed about the scientific activity of the scientists of the Middle Ages.
