The article examines the global problems of our time from the position of philosophical and social analysis. The characteristics of global problems are given. Possible ways to overcome global world problems and their impact on the life of modern man and the entire modern civilization are analyzed. As well as an example, the views of K. Lorenz and P.A. Sorokin are analyzed in the aspect of awareness of global problems as a threat to the existence of humanity.
