Student motivation is a key factor in their intellectual and cognitive development. The level of student
motivation in modular learning is determined by a number of factors, including the structure of the learning
process, assessment methods, and the level of student independence. This article analyzes the problems of
motivating students in modular learning, reviews international and local experiences, and also suggests ways to
increase the motivation for intellectual development, taking into account global trends and local characteristics.
