This article analyzes the issues of military supply and troop mobilization — essential components of military policy during the reign of Amir Temur — based on written sources from the Timurid era. The study examines the formation of Temur’s army, the mobilization measures implemented prior to military campaigns, the criteria for selecting soldiers, and the army’s supply system, using a source-critical (historiographical) approach. Particular emphasis is placed on an analysis of key sources such as Zafarnama by Nizam al-Din Shami and Sharaf al-Din Ali Yazdi, Ibn Arabshah’s Ajā'ib al-Maqdūr fī Tārīkh Tīmūr, and the Temur’s Codes (Tuzuks).
