This article examines the structural and functional aspects of the national education system in the context of digital civilization from a socio-philosophical perspective. It analyzes how the digital transformation is bringing significant changes to the structure (educational institutions, infrastructure) and functioning (distance learning, digital assessment systems, etc.) of the education system. The results indicate that these changes are expanding opportunities in education and increasing efficiency — in particular, improving access to education and modernizing the monitoring and evaluation processes. At the same time, certain risks and challenges are identified, such as the diminishing role of the human factor in the educational process and the reduction of educational content to digital metrics. The article underscores the need to evaluate digital reforms in education not merely as technical progress, but also on the basis of humanistic values, national identity, and the system of moral upbringing. In conclusion, it is noted that the digital transformation of the education system should be perceived as a socio-philosophical phenomenon, requiring a human-centered approach that prioritizes national and spiritual values.
