FROM THE HISTORY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE JIZZAKH STEPPES AND THE FORMATION OF THE MIRZACHUL AND DUSTLIK DISTRICTS

Аннотация

This article analyzes the process of development of the Jizzakh steppes from a historical point of view. Since the middle of the 20th century, the reclamation and irrigation works carried out in the southern part of Mirzachul - the Jizzakh steppes, the policy of developing new lands for agriculture, socio-economic changes in the region, and environmental consequences are scientifically covered. The study is analyzed using the example of the agrarian policy of the Soviet era, post-independence reforms, and modern sustainable development processes.
