Muhammad Iqbal and Mirza Ghalib, as figures who have reached the highest heights of Urdu and Persian literature, occupy a special place in Eastern spirituality and world literature. While Ghalib's poetry reflects the inner suffering of man, his spiritual quest in life, Iqbal's works transform these spiritual experiences into an idea that calls for activity, awakening, and self-realization. If Ghalib is a master of the art of creating meaning, Iqbal is even more than that - he endowed meaning with a purpose, and an idea with a spirit that awakens society. Thus, Iqbal's poetry is not only artistic beauty, but also a call for national awakening, spiritual freedom, and human perfection. This study will analyze the philosophical, spiritual, and artistic aspects of the work of Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib and Muhammad Iqbal in a comparative manner.
