TERMS, TERMINOLOGY AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO RELATED CONCEPTS

In the 20th century, language began to be recognized as a holistic system in world linguistics. As a result, new approaches to revealing the essence of units of language at different levels emerged. Changes and developments in science and technology around the world lead to an increase in scientific and technical concepts and an enrichment of terminology. With the development of time, changes and innovations in the social, political, spiritual and cultural spheres of our people's life have created the basis for the emergence of new concepts and new names related to the development of science and technology in oral and written speech. This, in turn, creates the need to regulate the words expressing new concepts in the language, to determine the laws of development of terminology, its specific features, and the relationship between terms and concepts related to it, which is gaining relevance today as a field. In this article, the concept of the term, its definitions, and the relationship of the term with words and other concepts have been thoroughly studied and analyzed.
