This article provides a scientific and methodological analysis of modernizing the teaching methodology of the course “Renewable Energy Sources” from the perspective of the Education 5.0 concept. It substantiates the need to improve the educational process through the implementation of innovative pedagogical approaches – STEAM, PBL, AI, IoT, and the integration of virtual laboratories – aiming to foster green economy principles, ecological responsibility, and innovative engineering thinking, which are crucial for sustainable societal development. The study emphasizes that the Education 5.0 model moves energy education beyond theoretical instruction, focusing on shaping students as creative agents capable of addressing global energy challenges.
